Multiple “main” elements would not be atomic and would just be more clutter…more lines of code to charge back to the client. What is with the developers in England anyway? They almost crave turning everything into a complex liturgy. (see history) HTML SHOULD BE ATOMIC TO THE CONTENT IT REPRESENTS. Tiny not bigger or more clumsy. It is certainly not more semantic to add elements to say this is an “aside” but that is the nature of english in England. Funny how this semantic argument has roots that date back 500+ years.
